He delivered this message in an exclusive interview with Ekohotblog on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Odo-Ayandelu 2025 Annual Ramadan Lecture.
The lecture was about “Zakat & Sadaqah,” which means giving to those in need.
The king expressed his gratitude for being a part of the program, where the revered Islamic scholar, Hon. Abdul-Lateef Abdul-Hakeem (Hon Yepe), has been the guest speaker for ten years.

He praised the lectures as educative, saying they had taught him the importance of sharing blessings with others.
“Everyone can attest to the fact that the lecture is very educative; we’ve been taught that when one is blessed, it should be extended to others, todays lecture has encouraged me to aspire to do more because the reward is with Almighty Allah.’’ He said.
The king’s remarks also identified the importance of serving Allah; he stated that everyone should deepen their faith, pray, and be good to others.

He encouraged faith in Allah, prayer, and kindness. He also warned people not to make money through dishonest ways and to help those in need.
