EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement issued on Tuesday, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Tanko Yunusa, emphasized the group’s commitment to strengthening its structures, expanding its influence, and empowering its supporters to actively participate in the political process.

The statement highlighted a significant milestone achieved by the movement on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, when it successfully convened its first Advisory and Directorate Committees meeting. “The Obidient Movement remains unwavering in its commitment to develop and ensure the emergence of competent, value-based leaders like Peter Obi in Nigeria’s political landscape as we march toward the 2027 general elections,” the statement read.
