Odo-Ayandelu prays for Oba Aderibigbe’s Prolonged Reign At Special Jumat Prayer

• The paramount ruler of Odo-Ayandelu Kingdom, HRM. Oba Abdul-Ganiyu Asunmo Aderibigbe, marks his 15th year coronation anniversary at Odo-Ayandelu Central Mosque.
• Islamic clerics and scholars recited Quranic verses in supplication for the continued reign of peace enjoyed in the community in the past 15 years.
• Monarchs across Epe Division joined Oba Aderibigbe at Odo-Ayandelu Central Mosque as they showed solidarity and reverence to his excellent leadership style.

Odo-Ayandelu Muslim community converged at the community’s central mosque on Friday, May 30th, 2025, to offer prayers of supplication and sustained unity and progress for their monarch.

Ekohotblog gathered that in commemoration of HRM. Oba (Bldr) Asunmo Ganiyu Aderibigbe’s 15th coronation anniversary, the community offered special prayers for his prolonged reign at the helm of the community’s affairs.

As part of the programs scheduled for the week-long celebration of Oba Aderibigbe’s leadership milestone, monarchs and chieftains from neighboring kingdoms in Epe joined Alayandelu at the mosque to take part in the solemn prayers.

The Onirokun of Ogun State, HRM. Or Buari Ola Balogun; the Oniladaba of Oniladaba Kingdom, HRM. Or Sick Nureni Alugbin; the Governor of Epe Kingdom, High Chief Musiliudeen Kadri Odedeogboro, representing the Olu Epe of Epe, and others.

Moreover, the Chief Imam of Odo-Ayandelu Kingdom, Alh.  The Musliudeen Osho Adetona, delivered a brief remark on the excellent reign of Oba Aderibigbe over the years.

“We are rejoicing today at Odo-Ayandelu, and we give thanks to Almighty Allah for divine sustenance.”

“His journey has just begun; by the special grace of Almighty Allah, he shall celebrate 50, 60 years on the throne…” He added.

After the Jumat prayer, the Grand Chief Imam of Odo-Ayandelu Kingdom, Alh. Musliudeen Osho Adetona, commenced a special prayer session for Oba Aderibigbe and other monarchs and chieftains at the occasion.

At the conclusion of the prayers, Oba Aderibigbe acknowledged the support and contributions of the Muslim community, particularly the Chief Imam and other Islamic clergy whose prayers have contributed to the community’s growth.

“I appreciate you all for your support and loyalty. I am indeed happy and grateful. As we celebrate this great milestone together, I pray that all the goodness and peace we’ve enjoyed in the last 15 years will continue, Insha Allah…” He said.
