Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi (SKETEL), Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency II, has commenced the 2026 New Year with a major infrastructural intervention aimed at improving electricity supply across his constituency.
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the lawmaker distributed two sets of electricity transformers to strategic communities within Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The beneficiaries include Imokun Community in Ward L1 and Joints Edudu Community Development Area (CDA), Iraye Oke, which comprises six Community Development Associations under Ward M1.
The intervention is expected to significantly enhance power supply, ease long-standing electricity challenges, and improve socio-economic activities within the benefiting communities.
Residents described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that stable electricity remains critical to daily living and small-scale businesses.
Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Ogunkelu reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development.
According to him, “improving basic infrastructure such as electricity remains a priority, because it directly affects the quality of life and economic growth of our communities.”
Community leaders and residents of Imokun and Joints Edudu CDA expressed deep appreciation for the lawmaker’s consistency and dedication.
