Eko Hot Blog reports that the Community Development Committee (CDC) of Onigbongbo LCDA has taken delivery of palliative items given to all CDC across the state courtesy of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to alleviate the burden on the masses.

The CDC Chairman, Mr Kunle Oluwo, in an interview with Eko Hot Blog appreciated the governor for this initiative and always supporting the grassroots.
“We trust the ability of the Governor as Mr Talk and Do, as he has delivered on his promise, but like Oliver Twist, we urge him to do more,” Mr Oluwo said.
The CDC Secretary, Mr Idowu Samson also appreciated the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and Sanwo-Olu for the nice gesture in reaching out to the grassroots through the provision of palliative to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy on the people.

“On behalf of Onigbongbo LCDA Chairman, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, the entire CDC/CDA, we once again appreciate the Federal and State Government for making us part of the beneficiaries,” Mr Samson added.
The Officer in charge of CDC/CDA, Mr Abass Damilare who supervised the delivery of the palliative urged the CDA Chairmen to ensure that the palliative reaches the downtrodden in their various communities as they are the main target of this initiative.
