Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has further cemented his place in Nigerian football history by surpassing the legendary Segun Odegbami to become the Super Eagles’ second-highest goalscorer of all time.
The landmark moment occurred on Friday evening in Kigali during Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda. Osimhen broke the deadlock in the 11th minute, converting a precise free-kick delivery from Ademola Lookman.
