EKO HOT BLOG reports that Osimhen was honoured for his stunning bicycle kick goal scored during stoppage time in Galatasaray’s dominant 3–0 victory over Antalyaspor at the RAMS Park. The goal, which was widely hailed as a moment of individual brilliance, was his third league goal for the Turkish champions at the time.
The 26-year-old, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Serie A side Napoli in September, enjoyed a phenomenal season. He finished as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals, further solidifying his status as one of the most lethal forwards in European football.
His impressive performances have sparked fresh speculation about his long-term future, with fans and analysts alike wondering whether Galatasaray will make a move to secure his services permanently or if he will return to Napoli.
Meanwhile, fellow Nigerian forward Victor Boniface is also making headlines. Reports from The Athletic suggest that Spanish giants Real Madrid are closely monitoring the Bayer Leverkusen striker.
Real Madrid’s new manager, Xabi Alonso, is said to be in search of a capable backup forward in the mould of Joselu—an affordable, team-oriented striker who can make an impact when needed. Boniface, who previously worked under Alonso at Leverkusen, reportedly fits that profile and has emerged as a leading candidate.
Alonso is also considering other similar options, including Borja Iglesias, but Boniface’s familiarity with his coaching style and his proven ability in the Bundesliga may give him the edge.
