The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has formally unveiled Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo and Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu as the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates for Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the forthcoming July 12, 2025 local government elections.
Ekohotblog reports that the official flag presentation took place at the party’s State Secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja, in a grand event attended by members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Conference 57 Chairmen, party stakeholders, and grassroots supporters from across the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas of the state.

State Party Chairman, Hon. (Pastor) Cornelius Ojelabi, led the symbolic presentation of the APC flag to the candidates, urging all party faithful to rally behind the ticket-bearers and ensure victory at the polls.
“The APC has always stood for development, continuity, and the empowerment of the people. Today, we present candidates who reflect these values and are committed to delivering dividends of democracy at the grassroots level,” Ojelabi stated.
In an emotional and purposeful acceptance speech, Hon. Akogun Anomo expressed his gratitude to the party hierarchy and residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA for their continued support and trust in his leadership.
“This is not just a flag; it is a symbol of shared vision and collective purpose. I accept this mandate with deep humility and a renewed resolve to serve our people better,” Anomo said.
“This moment is not just about celebration; it is a call to deepen our commitment to the people. Our message is simple: progress must continue, and no one will be left behind.”

Running mate Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu also pledged his support for the mission ahead, stating, “We are united in our determination to build on the legacies already in place. Together, with the people, we will take Ikosi-Ejinrin to greater heights.”
