HRM Oba Rafiu Marks 80th Birthday Anniversary With His Olori, HRH Silifat Mojisola Balogun, 50th Birthday
Senior Statesmen, Kings, Chieftains and Iconic figures Grace the Grand Event

The paramount ruler of Ejinrin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rafiu Ishola Babatunde Balogun, the Adetoyese Ejalonibu II, threw a grand celebration party to mark his 20th Coronation Anniversary and 80th Birthday on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

The double-header celebration had a series of amazing events lined up from 5th to 12th of January 2025, featuring prayers and thanksgiving in church and traditional day rites on the first three days, respectively.

Day 4, 5, and 6 featured free medical outreach for Ejinrin people, the conferment of honorary chieftaincy titles on deserving individuals, and a special Jumat prayer on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday respectively.

On Saturday, Oba Rafiu Ishola Babatunde Balogun entertained Apo masquerade at his palace as the princes and princesses organised a special Fidau prayer in remembrance of the late Olori Agba, Sadiat Balogun.

The grand celebration was wrapped up with an elaborate festivity and merriment, featuring a live band performance by Fuji Iconic singer, King Saheed Osupa.

The Grand Finale

The grand finale had a number of dignitaries in attendance, including the second citizen of Lagos State, Dr. Kadir Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
