The Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) hosted a significant event on 21st May, 2025 — the INTERFACE 101 Book Presentation, Donation, and Interactive Summit. This gathering brought together influential thought leaders, experienced professionals, and eager students, creating a vibrant platform for learning, sharing, and inspiration.
The event was hosted by Mr. Sanmi Falobi, a proud alumnus of the NIJ’s 2018/19 set. Mr. Falobi is a renowned NGO media intrapreneur and a prolific author. His book, “Timeless Lessons from African Proverbs,” is the focal point of this occasion, encapsulating wisdom and insights rooted in African cultural heritage.

A key highlight of the day was the donation of 50 copies of Mr. Falobi’s book to the NIJ community. These copies were distributed to staff members, students, and the NIJ library, with generous financial support courtesy of Otunba T.J. Abass, as he funded the purchase of 50 copies of the book.
