Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Operatives have intercepted eight trucks transporting suspected illegally mined solid minerals in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, stated in a press release on Friday that the trucks were seized on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
According to him, the trucks were transporting solid minerals suspected to be fluorite and iron ore.
“The minerals were mined from some illegal mining sites in the Logo Local Government Area of Benue State,” Oyewale said in the statement.
