- Lagos Health Commissioner Akin Abayomi successfully underwent eye surgery at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, has relayed his experience after he underwent a successful surgery at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the commissioner shared updates and expressed his gratitude to the medical team, highlighting the exceptional quality of care he received.
His post reads “Huge thanks to the incredible oculoplastic surgeons in the Eye Department, especially Prof. Mrs. Bola Adekoya and Dr. Rosemay Ngwu, for their expertise and for making the procedure painless,” Abayomi wrote.

Furthermore, Prof. Abayomi also praised the nursing team, describing their care as topnotch.

He also extended his appreciation to Prof. Adebowale O. Adekoya, the Director of Clinical Services and Training at LASUTH, for leading an excellent team.
He praised Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo, LASUTH’s Chief Medical Director, for his leadership in driving healthcare excellence.
