The Ondo State Police Command has arraigned a married woman for allegedly attacking her husband with a machete during a domestic dispute, leaving him with serious injuries.
Eko Hot Blog reports the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, disclosed that the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on June 2, 2026.

According to the police, an argument between the couple reportedly escalated into violence when the woman allegedly attacked her husband, identified as Olatunde Julius, with a machete.
The victim was said to have sustained severe injuries to his left hand and was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Jimoh explained that medical personnel attended to the victim and later issued a medical report, which formed part of the evidence used during the police investigation.
Following the conclusion of investigations, the police said a prima facie case was established against the suspect, leading to her arraignment before a court for prosecution.
The police spokesperson reiterated the command’s commitment to tackling domestic violence and other forms of abuse, warning that such acts pose serious threats to lives and public safety.

He also urged members of the public to promptly report cases of domestic violence and abuse to security agencies to ensure timely intervention and prevent further harm.
