Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has criticized veteran Fuji musician Saheed Osupa for allegedly causing the removal of his song from streaming platforms over copyright infringement.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Portable’s song was taken down from Spotify and Apple Music after Osupa and his distributors filed complaints, citing unauthorized use of a line from his music.

Expressing his frustration in a viral video, Portable lashed out at Osupa for reporting the song, accusing him of not supporting his career like fellow Fuji artist Pasuma.

“Saheed Osupa, you are big for nothing. If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you. You sing Fuji while I sing hip-hop. I used a line from your music just like I removed three verses from Pasuma’s, but he never reported my song. If you can’t support me like Pasuma, then keep your distance,” Portable said.

In a related development, content creator Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, known as Ijoba Lande, has called out Portable for making a song about his family controversy.

EKO HOT BLOG recalls that Lande previously accused his estranged wife, Dara, of infidelity, claiming to have video evidence of her with other men, including his colleague Baba Tee.

Portable’s decision to create a song based on the scandal did not sit well with Lande, who vowed that the singer would face consequences.

“Portable, I see all the nonsense you are doing. You are using my life story to sing. You will pay for it. When they slept with one of your wives, you were crying all over the internet. Don’t worry, you will pay for your crimes someday,” Lande warned in a video posted on social media.
