EKO HOT BLOG reports that Atiku, who contested the 2023 presidential election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), announced on Thursday that opposition parties had formed a coalition aimed at unseating the ruling party and President Bola Tinubu.
Reacting to the development, President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, dismissed the coalition, describing its members as frustrated and bitter politicians.
In a post on 𝕏, Onanuga stated that Tinubu remains committed to governance and will not be distracted by what he called a group of “sore losers.”
“My message to the coalition of Tinubu haters: President Tinubu is focused on governance to build a prosperous country. He is on the way to achieving this. Two months to his midterm, he has many solid achievements to showcase.
“Intractable problems are being tackled headlong. He cannot be distracted by the so-called coalition of politicians. They are not politicians after the public good. It’s all about their self-interest. They are disgruntled. They are a frustrated lot.
