“The physical performance of politicians will surely earn him or her the confidence of constituents,” a leader of the solidarity group said, noting that Hon. Sketel’s stewardship has earned him widespread trust and goodwill across the constituency.
According to the group, the lawmaker’s achievements span physical infrastructure, wealth creation initiatives, periodic empowerment programmes, youth employment, accessibility to constituents, and direct intervention in personal concerns of residents.
They further highlighted what they described as an unprecedented “stomach infrastructure” initiative, a weekly welfare support programme that reportedly benefits over 1,000 constituents, with beneficiaries receiving an average of ₦5,000 weekly.
“The exceptional performance of the Epe II representative in the last six years continues to build trust and confidence among the good people of Epe II,” the group stated, adding that this track record has fueled calls for him to contest again in 2027.

Speaking during a solidarity forum held over the weekend, a representative of the group pointed to Hon. Sketel’s infrastructural impact across Epe II, citing road projects facilitated along the Agbowa–Ikosi-Ejirin axis and Eredo, streetlight road rehabilitation, and improvements in drainage systems.
“The good people of Epe II need Hon. Sketel’s quality representation to continue even beyond 2027,” the spokesperson emphasized.
The group vowed to sustain mobilization efforts until the lawmaker responds positively to their appeal.
“We will continue to mobilize and urge him to heed the voice of the people and contest in 2027, so constituents can keep enjoying the quality representation he has provided for over six years,” the group concluded.
