Prince Eke’s Bank Account Gets Emptied After Airtel Sells Active Line

Nollywood actor, Prince Eke takes telecom giant, Airtel to the opinion court following what he considers an ill treatment on him.

According to Eke, his active phone line he had registered for N80,000 was handed over to another customer who he identified to be Asian.

Prince Eke goes on to reveal the person hacked into his bank account to cart away with the money in it.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood actor, Prince Eke, has called out telecommunication giant, Airtel, over the alleged sale of his active line to a Chinese man. In a post on his Instagram story, the actor disclosed that the Chinese man who purchased his line went ahead to hack into his bank account and emptied it.
Prince Eke, who paid a whopping N80,000 for the line as far back as 2014, expressed his displeasure at the actions of Airtel.

The Nollywood actor further revealed that the line was linked to his bank account, National Identification Number (NIN), and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
“@AIRTELNGERIA THE MAN YOU GAVE MY NUMBER TO HAS EMPTIED MY BANK ACCOUNT. THAT NUMBER IS A SPECIAL NUMBER THAT I PAID 80K FOR. IT’S LINKED TO MY BANK ACCOUNT. NIN NUMBER AND BVN. I USED THAT NUMBER BY AUGUST 2022. I STILL RECHARGE THE PHONE NUMBER PERIODICALLY. WHAT DID I DO TO YOU GUYS”? he wrote on his Instagram page.
The actor’s post has since generated reactions from his followers, with many expressing their shock and outrage at Airtel’s alleged actions. Some of them have also called for the company to investigate the matter and take appropriate actions to address the issue.

As at the time of filing this report, Airtel is yet to issue a statement or respond to the allegations made by Prince Eke. It is unclear if the actor has taken any legal action against the company or the Chinese man who allegedly emptied his bank account.
