The Washington Post reported on Sunday that Trump had reached out to Putin, cautioning him against actions that could intensify the ongoing tensions in Ukraine.
However, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday that the report was “completely false information,” denying that any such call took place.
This claim comes amid heightened international scrutiny as global leaders closely monitor the conflict in Ukraine, with fears of potential escalations impacting diplomatic and geopolitical relations.
