” After much thought and consideration, I am hereby resigning my position as Head Coach of the Super Falcons. This will allow the NFF ample time to find the next manager to take over this incredible squad.”
Randy Waldrum was appointed head coach of the Super Falcons on October 5, 2020, after previously turning down the role three years earlier.

He led the team to a fourth-place finish at the 2022 Africa Women’s Nations Cup in Morocco and oversaw a commendable performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where the Super Falcons were eliminated by England in the Round of 16 after a penalty shootout.
However, the nine-time African champions were unable to advance past the group stage in the women’s football event at the 2024 Olympic Games.
