Ridwan, who cited cold weather as a contributing factor to his actions, was reportedly in the student residential area because his uncle had asked him to park his motorcycle at the house.
“But I got there immediately; it stopped raining, and it was cold. Suddenly the girl passed by and asked after the landlady. I asked her whether she knew the lady, but she refused to answer and went straight into her room. I ran after her and banged straight into the room with the aim to rap£ her.
“But the girl held my clothes tight and was shouting, which attracted neighbours, and I found a way to run away from the room,” he added.

Subsequent to a complaint filed at the Amotekun command in Ila, Ridwan was arrested at a hideout by Osun Amotekun Commandant Adekunle Omoyele.
Investigations revealed Ridwan’s previous s£xual offenses, including an instance where he rap£d one of his siblings and faced severe punishment upon discovery. He is set to be arraigned in court to face justice.
A related case occurred in Ode-Omu town, Ayedaade local government, on Monday, involving a primary 3 pupil. Abdulateef Ajao, 28, allegedly attempted to rap£ the minor while she was hawking pepper.
The victim managed to escape and informed her parents about the ordeal.
