Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has defended Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, after a video of them hanging out surfaced online. Regina posted a clip on Instagram showing herself dancing joyfully with Phyna and others during a casual outing.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that her post came shortly after another video showed Phyna at a nightclub, which drew criticism from some social media users. One commenter accused Phyna of clubbing despite mourning her late sister and demanding justice from Dangote Group.

Reacting to the criticism, Regina Daniels explained that Phyna grieves privately, writing, “She definitely cries in her private moment. But with us, the tears dey mad?”
Phyna had earlier accused Dangote Group of negligence over her sister Ruth’s death. She claimed the company failed to fulfill its promise of covering medical and burial expenses, only settling hospital bills at Lagoon Hospital while her family bore other costs.
According to Phyna, several attempts to reach the company on the day of the burial were ignored, forcing her family to complete payments.
She also accused the group of drafting a letter in her father’s name to acknowledge funds that were never received and lamented that her late sister’s children have been left without support.
