EKO HOT BLOG reports that Speaking in an interview with journalist Seun Okinbaloye, Fasua said no credible candidate exists who can defeat the President.
“I don’t see who will remove Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. I don’t even see where you’re going to start. It is going to end up in frustration. They don’t even have a platform anymore. Which platform are they using?” he said.
Meanwhile, Nigerian activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, claimed President Tinubu would fund the Obidient movement ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a series of posts on his Facebook page, Adeyanju alleged that Tinubu would encourage former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to shun the proposed opposition coalition and contest independently.

“Tinubu will fund Obidients again in 2027. E too sure! And Atiku too. This will be a wonderful strategy. They will be afraid of a coalition and won’t let it work. If you were the president, would you allow a coalition? A coalition removed GEJ,” he wrote.
Adeyanju further criticised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accusing the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of working against the party’s interests.
“PDP is a useless party and that is why Wike is still their member and will continue to destroy them from within. PDP must die in Wike’s hands for the opposition to get better,” he added.
