The comprehensive renovation of the Home Economics Laboratory at St. Joseph R.C.M School, Ibonwon, is nearing its final stages, signaling a major boost for educational infrastructure and youth development in Eredo LCDA.

Ekohotblog gathers tha the project, spearheaded by the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, reflects the council’s strong commitment to education, skill acquisition, and community growth.

Currently, floor tiling is underway, giving the laboratory a modern and polished look. Once completed, the space will be a fully equipped, functional environment for practical learning.

Speaking on the progress of the renovation, Hon. Akinloye stated, “Education remains a top priority for our administration. We believe that by providing our students with conducive learning environments and modern facilities, we are not only empowering them today but securing a better tomorrow for our community.”

According to project supervisors, the laboratory is just weeks away from completion, alongside five other people-oriented projects being undertaken by the LCDA. These projects are slated for commissioning soon and are part of a broader mission to improve the standard of education in the area.

“This renovation means so much to us,” said One of teachers at the school. “Our students will now be able to carry out their practical sessions in a more organized and inspiring setting. It’s a long-awaited development.”

Community members has also expressed appreciation. A parent of the school , noted that, “This kind of initiative shows that the government is listening. We are grateful for this investment in our children’s future.”

Hon. Akinloye reaffirmed his administration’s focus on sustainable development through strategic investment in education. “This is just one of many steps we are taking to ensure no child is left behind in Eredo. The future starts now, and we are building it with intention,” he said.
