The five-day Entrepreneurship Training and Empowerment Program facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji successfully ended today, Friday, March 7, 2025, with 100 participants receiving certificates of participation and a ₦100,000 grant each to support their businesses.

Speaking on the impact of the program, Mr. Basiru Hassan, Senior Legislative Aide to Rep Wale Raji, Member representing Epe Constituency in the House of Assembly,emphasized that the initiative is one of Rep. Wale Raji’s ongoing efforts to ease poverty and support market traders and business owners.
“This program is not just about financial support; it is about equipping business owners with the right skills to grow and sustain their enterprises,” Hassan stated.
“We have trained them on business management, financial planning, and digital marketing, ensuring they can expand their businesses beyond traditional methods.”
Hassan further explained that Rep. Wale Raji has consistently supported economic growth in Epe, citing previous empowerment initiatives such as the distribution of ₦2 million to various cooperative groups, financial grants to individual business owners, youth training in solar installation, catering, and other vocational skills, as well as support for local farmers.
“This is just one of the many empowerment programs to come,” he added. “More initiatives are on the way, including youth employment programs and additional business support schemes.”
Many participants expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a life-changing opportunity. One of the beneficiaries shared,
“The training has given me a new perspective on business. With the ₦100,000 grant, I can invest in better strategies and grow my business.”
