By producing high-quality syringes locally, the factory aims to reduce Nigeria’s dependency on imports, create jobs, and ensure essential medical supplies are readily available.

“As we celebrate this achievement today, let us remember that this is just the beginning. This is particularly important as we continue to strengthen our healthcare infrastructure to meet global standards.

Our administration remains committed to creating an enabling environment for businesses like Transgreen Nigeria Limited to thrive.

Through strategic investments in infrastructure, power supply, and policy reforms, we will continue to support initiatives that drive industrialization and economic growth”, said Sanwo-Olu.

He highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in addressing gaps in the healthcare system, as demonstrated by the establishment of the O-Care Disposable Syringes factory.

The factory aligns with the administration’s development agenda for a healthier and more prosperous Lagos, he stated.

Speaking at the factory’s commissioning, Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the initiative reflects the government’s broader goal of economic diversification by fostering industrial growth within the state.
