NYCN Epe Set to Host Ramadan Lecture on Selfless Service

- NYCN Epe is hosting a special Ramadan lecture on March 19, 2025, focusing on selfless service in nation-building.

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Branch, is organizing a special Ramadan lecture scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Epe Local Government Secretariat, Council Chamber, starting at 1:30 PM.
Ekohotblog reports that with the theme “Ramadan: Spirit of Selfless Service in Building a Stronger Nation,” the lecture will be delivered by Fadhilatul Shaykh Sherifdeen Ahmad, Mudeer of Vanguards Academy.

Speaking ahead of the event, NYCN Epe Coordinator, Comrade Moibi Ibrahim, emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a period for introspection, sacrifice, and community service.
“Ramadan instills in us the virtues of generosity, patience, and service to others. This lecture will explore how these values can be harnessed for the greater good of society,” he stated.
He encouraged young people and residents to take advantage of the session, stressing that a commitment to selfless service is crucial for societal progress.
“A prosperous nation is built by those who prioritize service over personal gain. We must adopt a mindset of compassion, unity, and collective responsibility, not just during Ramadan but in our everyday lives,” Comrade Moibi added.
