Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has resumed her legislative duties at the National Assembly after a six-month suspension.
Eko Hot Blog reports that she returned to her office, Suite 2.05 in the Senate Wing, on Tuesday after the Deputy Director of the Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji, officially unsealed the door.

Upon her return, the Senator stood her ground stating that she has “no apology to tender.” She thanked God, the people of Kogi Central, and her husband for their support during her ordeal.
She also directly criticized Senate President Godswill Akpabio, saying, “We can’t cower down in the face of injustice… it is so unfortunate that we will have a National Assembly being run by such a dictator.”
The Senate suspended Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan in March after she protested the reassignment of her seat by Senator Akpabio.

Although her suspension formally ended in September, the Senate resisted her return despite a July 4 ruling by the Federal High Court in Abuja, which declared the suspension unconstitutional.
While her office is now unsealed, it remains unclear whether the Senate will restore all her privileges when plenary resumes on October 7.
