Social media users have mocked Dele Momodu for posting a photoshopped APC campaign material.
Eko Hot Blog reports that social media users on Twitter descended on the Director of Strategic Communications of the presidential campaign council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, for posting photoshopped campaign posters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the weekend.
EDITOR’S PICKS
The image he posted on his Instagram account shows the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa with multiple messages.
The messages include, “WHEN WE RECOVER OUR ECONOMY WILL GROW” and “A VOTE FOR PDP IS A VOTE FOR NIGERIA TO RECOVER.”
The image shows various posters centered on a stadium.
Reacting to the image, a media aide to Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Jubril Gawat, informed Momodu that he posted a photoshopped image of an APC campaign material.
According to Gawat, the original material was shot at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Onikan Stadium), a day before the flag-off of Sanwo-Olu’s campaign.
“Good day sir @DeleMomodu, The picture on that your IG post of 1 hour ago is our Beautiful Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Onikan Stadium), seems it was ‘mistakenly photoshopped’, we snapped the picture a day before Governor Sanwo-Olu’s FlagOff while setting up. Just for your info sir,” he tweeted.

Is he trying to say he doesn't know that the Eagles Square Abuja doesn't have grass of any kind (natural or artificial) on it? Na wao!

Stealing may be an inheritance or spiritual touch from those that hate the shining star of an individual whom they hate with a passion, but when PDP steal, they do that with pride. I have never seen anything like the arrogant nature of PDP stealing pic.twitter.com/czvRd14ut9
