Soldier Arrested With ‘Canadian Loud’ In Lagos

The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended Lance Corporal Sani Aminu, a soldier stationed at Abalti Barracks in Surulere, Lagos, for possession of substances identified as Canadian Loud, a highly potent imported synthetic strain of cannabis.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to reports, the soldier, whose service number is 13NA/70/11481, was intercepted by a police patrol unit led by ASP Alex Dung on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at approximately 8 PM. The operation took place in Lagos, where the patrol team uncovered the illegal drug shipment in Aminu’s possession.
A police signal obtained by SaharaReporters detailed the arrest, stating, “Today being 15/01/2025 at about 2015HRS, patrol team led by ASP Alex Dung intercepted and brought to the station 13NA/70/11481 L/CPL Sani Aminu attached to Abalti Barracks, Surulere, with substance suspected to be Canadian Loud.
“Suspect will be transferred to CP Tactical Squad 1 for further investigation.”

Soldier Arrested Lagos
The suspect has since been taken into custody, and further investigations are underway to determine the origin and intended distribution of the illicit substances. The case has been transferred to the Commissioner of Police Tactical Squad for additional inquiries and legal proceedings.
