A 23-year-old man identified as Miracle has been allegedly stabbed to death by his father, known simply as Iseleto, in Osubi community, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, Eko Hot Blog reports.
According to reports, the incident occurred after Miracle rented a separate apartment for his mother, the suspect’s wife, in an attempt to prevent further domestic violence in their home. The father reportedly became enraged by his son’s action.

It was gathered that Iseleto lured Miracle into a bush, where he allegedly stabbed him multiple times with a dagger. The wounded son reportedly struggled from the bush to the road and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Before passing, Miracle recounted how his father had deceived and attacked him.
Residents said the suspect fled the community immediately after the attack. He reportedly admitted to committing the crime during a phone call with his step-daughter, and allegedly threatened to harm his wife for leaving their marital home.

Community members described Iseleto as a habitual drunkard and chronic debtor with a history of domestic violence. Neighbors alleged that he often assaulted his wife when intoxicated and engaged in abusive sexual behaviour, including attempting to force himself on his step-daughter.
The Delta State Police confirmed the incident. Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe told journalist that the suspect is currently at large and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest security agency.
Authorities are appealing to residents to remain vigilant as investigations continue.
