Authorities said Woods was behind the wheel of a Land Rover when he tried to overtake a truck at high speed, lost control, and the vehicle overturned.

A sheriff’s spokesperson, John Budensiek, stated that Woods appeared impaired at the scene. Although a breathalyzer test did not detect alcohol, he declined to undergo a urine test.
As a result, he was charged with DUI, property damage, and refusal to comply with a lawful test request.
Florida law requires that he remain in custody for a minimum of eight hours before he can be released on bail. The charges filed are classified as misdemeanors.
Officials confirmed that Woods was the only occupant of the vehicle, and no injuries were recorded. The truck involved was towing a pressure-cleaning trailer, and its driver reportedly attempted to avoid the collision but had limited space.
Investigators also noted that Woods exited the vehicle through the passenger side before officers arrived. It is still unknown whether he had been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Budensiek added that Woods seemed sluggish at the scene, which officers believe may have been due to impairment.
He also emphasized that the situation could have been far worse if other vehicles had been directly in the path of the crash.
This latest development adds to a history of similar incidents involving Woods, marking multiple dangerous driving episodes since 2009, including a previous DUI case in 2017.
