EKO HOT BLOG reports that Adarabioyo spoke about his connection to Nigeria while reflecting on a recent visit to the country. According to him, a holiday in Nigeria last summer strengthened his bond with his roots and deepened his appreciation of the country’s culture.
The defender also revealed that he closely followed the Super Eagles during the last Africa Cup of Nations, describing the national team as impressive.
“I played for England at youth level. I was born in London, but I remain attached to my country of origin, Nigeria. I spent my holidays there last summer. It’s a wonderful country with a multitude of cultures. I followed the Super Eagles at the last Africa Cup of Nations, and they are a fantastic team. I would be delighted to wear the Super Eagles jersey, but for now, I remain focused on my club goals,” he said.
Adarabioyo’s international future has been widely discussed over the years due to his eligibility to represent both England and Nigeria.
Despite progressing through England’s youth national teams earlier in his career, the defender has not received a call up to the senior team.

Now 28, the Chelsea defender remains uncapped at senior international level, leaving the door open for a potential switch to represent Nigeria in future competitions.
