EKO HOT BLOG reports that Peller, who is 20 years old, was seen in circulating video clips appearing distressed and alleging he had been abducted by armed men while driving home. He reportedly mistook the men for security operatives before realising they were unknown individuals.
The incident quickly went viral, sparking concerns among his fans and fellow content creators. However, the Lagos State Police has moved to calm fears, clarifying that all of Peller’s belongings, including his phones and vehicle, remain intact.
The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said investigations are ongoing to verify what exactly happened and whether it was a genuine case of abduction or a misunderstanding.
“We are investigating the allegation, but we can confirm that the person in question, Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, is at home safe and sound. His vehicle is also intact, all his phones and properties, nothing was missing,” Hundeyin stated during an interview with Channels Television.

He further added that the absence of violence and the recovery of all Peller’s possessions are key factors being considered in the ongoing inquiry. “We are investigating to check the veracity of that claim, and the outcome of that investigation will determine our next line of action,” Hundeyin explained.
For now, police authorities say there is no immediate evidence of foul play, though the probe continues.
