President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze following the death of his mother, Mrs Sarah Chukwueze.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement released on Thursday, the President extended his sympathies to the Chukwueze family, friends and loved ones, describing the loss as deeply painful.

President Tinubu said he mourns with the family and urged them to take comfort in the life, values and legacy left behind by their late matriarch.
He noted that Mrs Chukwueze’s passing came only days after the death of the father of Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi, describing the losses as a sad moment for the Nigerian football community.

“The passing of Mrs Chukwueze, the mother of one of our bright football stars, just a few days after the death of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi’s father, is deeply saddening. I mourn with the family and stand with them in prayers during this difficult time,” the President said.
President Tinubu also prayed that God Almighty would grant the departed eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear the loss.
