President Bola Tinubu arrived in Kano State on Friday to express his condolences to the family of the late elder statesman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the presidential aircraft landed at Aminu Kano International Airport around 3:30 p.m., where he was welcomed by Governor Abba Yusuf, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and other senior government officials.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio was among the officials who accompanied the President on the visit.
While in Kano, Tinubu is expected to visit the Dantata family to offer his condolences and also extend sympathy to the people and government of the state over the passing of the respected nonagenarian businessman.

Dantata, a prominent industrialist and generous philanthropist, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
At the time of his death, Tinubu was outside the country but had directed the Defence Minister, Mohammed Badaru, to lead a delegation to Saudi Arabia for the burial rites in his honor.
