- Akinloye links education projects to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda
- Stakeholders confirm allocations tripled under Tinubu’s reforms
- Parents, party leaders, and education officials applaud impact on grassroots
Grassroots development in Lagos communities is being powered by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, according to Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Chairman of Eredo LCDA.
Eko Hot Blog reports that speaking after commissioning three school projects in Odogbawojo, Ibonwon, and Odomola, Akinloye attributed the achievements to increased allocations from the federal government.
“We acknowledge the economic reforms of Mr. President, come 2024 he will return for his second term. We have commissioned three schools today and donated exercise books to all primary school pupils, and it’s possible with his efforts especially with the double and triple allocation given to us by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

The Chairman emphasized the impact on families already grappling with economic hardship. “We’ve been giving a lot of succor to the parents. Giving writing materials to the parents in Eredo is a relief.
Asiwaju being the President is a blessing to Nigeria, a blessing to us in Lagos, a blessing to us in Epe and a blessing to us in Eredo,” he said.
Party leaders and community stakeholders present at the event shared similar sentiments. Hon. Mahmud Agbaraojo, Eredo APC Chairman, commended Akinloye’s leadership, noting that the classrooms were proof that federal reforms are reaching the grassroots.
“This is not politics, this is impact. What the President is doing nationally, Hon. Akinloye is translating into reality here in Eredo,” he remarked.
Education stakeholders also spoke at the ceremony. Hon. Idowu Shittu (SAICO), Epe Local Government Education Authority Secretary, praised the initiative as a boost to learning conditions:
“The tripling of allocations has given councils the resources to prioritize education. What we are seeing in Eredo is a model for other councils.”
Akinloye used the occasion to urge residents to sustain their support for President Tinubu. “Let us look forward and believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The only way to give back to him is to troop out en masse and cast our vote for him for another term. The reward for good work is more work, Asiwaju isn’t tired, he wants to come back, let us give him the chance for the benefit of all,” he said.
The event, which attracted traditional rulers, party stalwarts, education officials, and community members, highlighted not only classroom projects but also the distribution of exercise books across 19 public schools and fencing of school premises to strengthen security.
