Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, the Coordinator of the movement in Ward C1, Fatai Makanjuola, commended the people for their steadfast support, noting that their endorsement was rooted in the lawmaker’s performance and track record.
“Our support for Hon. Tobun is based on his proven leadership and the visible development he has brought to our communities. This is beyond politics; it is about continuity and progress,” he said.
Makanjuola highlighted several developmental strides executed across Ward C1 and the wider constituency, describing them as clear evidence of effective representation.
In separate remarks, prominent stakeholders including Yemi Agbayo, S.I. Bakare, Bola Lawal, and S.B. Olukolu, praised the lawmaker’s achievements and influence within the Assembly.
They emphasized that Hon. Tobun’s position as a ranking member places him at a strategic advantage to attract more developmental projects to Epe Constituency I.
“Re-electing Hon. Tobun ensures continuity and sustained development. Bringing in a new lawmaker at this stage may slow down the progress we are already enjoying,” one of the leaders stated.
The stakeholders therefore urged constituents to remain united in their support for the “ITESIWAJU 2027” movement, describing it as a pathway to greater development and representation.
As part of the engagement, the group also paid a courtesy visit to Rotimi Ibrahim, who reaffirmed his longstanding relationship with Hon. Tobun and pledged his continued support in alignment with the party’s collective decision.
“I have always maintained a cordial relationship with Hon. Tobun, and I remain committed to supporting him as we move forward together,” he said.
The rally underscores the growing political strength of Hon. Tobun within Epe Division, as grassroots support continues to consolidate ahead of the 2027 elections.
