Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has explained why she has no plans to remove the tattoos on her body, even after publicly recommitting herself to her Christian faith.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the actress, who has been open about her renewed spiritual journey, has recently shared videos of herself praying and speaking in tongues, reflecting noticeable changes in her lifestyle and beliefs.

During an online interaction with a fan, Tonto was asked if she would consider removing her tattoos now that she has rededicated her life to Christ.
In response, the actress revealed that while she once thought about it, she is unwilling to undergo laser procedures that could damage her skin.

She added that her faith does not require her to erase the tattoos, stressing that her relationship with God is not affected by the ink on her body. According to her, spirituality goes beyond physical appearance.
Responding directly to the fan, she said she would have removed the tattoos if it were possible without harming her skin, but noted that she is comfortable with them and believes her faith remains intact.

The actress also recently announced that she will be more intentional about the people and brands she associates with this year. She said respect is non-negotiable and that she will not work with individuals or organisations that show hostility toward her, her faith, or her spiritual leaders.
