Eyewitnesses said the collision sparked a fire that rapidly spread through the shopping complex, engulfing several adjoining shops before emergency responders arrived at the scene.
The situation was worsened by the nature of goods stored in the affected shops, allowing the flames to spread quickly and making initial efforts to contain the fire unsuccessful.
Emergency response teams and security personnel were subsequently deployed to the area to prevent the blaze from spreading further and to maintain order around the busy commercial district.

Although no deaths were recorded, traders and business owners were left devastated as the inferno completely razed several shops and destroyed valuable merchandise.
Many of the affected traders were seen assessing the extent of their losses, describing the incident as a major setback to their businesses and livelihoods.
Authorities are expected to conduct a detailed assessment of the damage and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and the resulting fire outbreak.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the Dugbe business community, with residents and traders expressing concern over the scale of destruction caused by the inferno.
