This year’s ceremony will carry added significance, as the city continues to recover from devastating wildfires.
In a joint statement, The Recording Academy and CBS highlighted their commitment to supporting wildfire relief efforts. They announced a $1 million pledge from The Recording Academy and MusiCares to aid music industry professionals affected by the fires.
Additionally, a new initiative, the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, will support first responders and victims.
Noah’s hosting milestone places him among Grammy legends. According to Billboard, only music stars like Andy Williams, John Denver, and LL Cool J have hosted the awards as many times.
Noah, who is also nominated for Best Comedy Album for his Netflix special Where Was I, will serve as a producer for the live broadcast.
Reflecting on the pressures of hosting, Noah previously told Variety, “I work twice as hard because the idea of disappointing someone like Beyoncé is terrifying.
Hosting the Grammys is not just about entertaining the audience; it’s about respecting the artists.”
This year’s Grammy ceremony will feature leading nominees Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift.
Beyoncé’s genre-defying album Cowboy Carter leads with 11 nominations, while Eilish follows with seven, and Swift has six.
