EKO HOT BLOG reports that the visit comes in response to the deadly attack on the Angwan Rukuba community, which claimed several lives and heightened tension in the state.
Tinubu said he would be in Jos to commiserate with families who lost loved ones and to reassure residents that those behind the violence would not prevail.
“I have postponed my trip to Iperu, Ogun State. My first duty at this moment is to stand with the people of Plateau.
“I will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those who seek to spread fear will not prevail. We will continue to strengthen our security response and ensure that justice is done.
“From Plateau, I will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday, and then continue with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa State focused on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth.
“In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building.
“The work continues. Nigeria First,” the President stated.

Tinubu emphasised the need for national unity during periods of crisis, noting that the country must remain focused on both security and development priorities.
