A man identified as Dele Bandele, whose picture went viral on social media after he went missing on Tuesday, has reportedly committed suicide .
He was found dead hours after he was declared missing.
Dele was said to have shared a post with some of his “close friends” on Instagram moments before he went missing detailing his struggles with depression.

In what read like a suicide note, Dele wrote that he had attempted suicide three times already but the thought of his mother hamentald always discouraged him each time.
“I didn’t send my mum a note because I couldn’t bear to. If you’re reading this, then you probably know how much she meant to me. The thought of her would have discouraged me. I couldn’t let it. Not for the 4th time,” the post partly read.
However, after news of his death surfaced on social media, Eko Hot Blog culled some reactions from twitter:
Going through the RIP Dele trend & seeing people preaching be kind to others.
If only we practised what we say after these suicides occur.
A few days after, the same people showing sympathy today would be trolling someone else to depression if such person shares their struggles

Those words from Dele hit me hard, We don't pay attention to mental health in this part of the world and it's disheartening.
RIP Dele 💔.— Victor Babatunde (@vhic_tore) January 13, 2021
That period between 25 and 30
has to be the most worrisome
part of adult life. You worry
about so much. Your dreams. A
life partner. Finances. The
future. Your parents getting
old. Everything. Very easy to
fall in depression or develop
anxiety disorders.Rip Dele

Someone left a suicide note for their inner circle but it has some how made it’s way to the internet. Nigerians have no regards for people, even in their death. RIP Dele 🕊

Dele said "life is like a party, when you stop having fun, leave". This is very wrong when it comes to suicide. No motivational quote can justify suicide action.
Please no matter what is happening to you never take suicide as an option.
