Two Arrested for Beheading 10-Year-Old Almajiri in Adamawa

- Adamawa police arrested two suspects for the brutal murder and beheading of a 10-year-old Almajiri boy in Jada.
- The victim, reported missing on March 7, 2025, was found decomposed in a sack, with his head buried in a shallow grave at the suspects’ residence.
- The suspects confessed to the crime, and the Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough investigation to ensure justice.
The Adamawa State Police Command has achieved another breakthrough in its fight against violent crimes with the arrest of two suspects for the gruesome murder of a 10-year-old boy in Jada Local Government Area.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement on Sunday, Police Public Relations Officer CSP Suleiman Nguroje confirmed that operatives from the Divisional Police Headquarters, Jada, apprehended Ibrahim Abdul Malik, 27, and Aliyu Abdul Malik, 18, both residents of Anguwan Sarkin Yamma, Jada, in connection with the crime.

“The duo were accused of killing and beheading a 10-year-old Almajiri, Abdalla Lawali, of Anguwar Dubai, Jada. The victim had been reported missing since March 7, 2025, prompting an extensive search effort,” Nguroje stated.
Following intelligence reports linking the suspects to the crime, Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris deployed officers to the scene, where the decomposed body of the child was discovered in a sack. A subsequent search of the suspects’ residence led to the shocking discovery of the victim’s severed head buried in a shallow grave.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime, expressing regret and attributing their actions to the influence of the devil.
Condemning the horrific act, CP Morris ordered the case to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution. He reassured the public that justice would be served and urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant, reporting any suspicious activity to the authorities.
