According to a statement released on Saturday by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, a firearm, ammunition, and various other items were recovered from the suspects during the operation.
The police spokesperson explained that credible intelligence revealed the existence of criminal gangs formed by expelled students and school dropouts.
These groups have been terrorizing communities and engaging in illegal activities such as rape, extortion, and cybercrime.
Items recovered during the raid include an English Beretta pistol with three rounds of 9mm live ammunition, one laptop, two Android phones, an MTN internet router, several suspected drug mixtures, and three power of attorney documents believed to be stolen.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the gang is being led by two individuals: Etieno Gideon James and another suspect known only by the alias “Ale,” both of whom are currently on the run.
