The institution’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

Dr. Ehanire, however, advised all candidates to ignore the “NOT ADMITTED” status currently showing on their slips, clarifying that admission processes are still ongoing.
She emphasized that the official admission period has started and will continue until October 31, in line with the timetable set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
“All candidates who scored 50 per cent and above in the screening are eligible for consideration,” she said, adding that the final selection will be based on the university’s approved guidelines for admission.
She also noted that more updates on the admission process will be provided in the coming weeks.
