United Nigeria Airlines and Medplus have partnered to offer cheaper flights and wellness perks to Nigerian travelers.
According to reports from Eko Hot Blog, the United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has teamed up with Medplus, one of Nigeria’s largest health and beauty retail chains, to launch a new initiative combining affordable air travel with wellness benefits.

The partnership aims to reward health-conscious travelers with discounted flight tickets and access to wellness essentials positioning both brands for broader market impact.
Through this deal, customers who shop at any of Medplus’ 150+ outlets across Nigeria can access special flight discount codes. These codes can be used when booking United Nigeria Airlines tickets, giving travelers a price break while also promoting local tourism.
In addition to cheaper fares, passengers will also enjoy travel wellness kits that include essentials such as vitamins and immune boosters offered by Medplus to enhance the travel experience.
During the launch event in Lagos, UNA’s Chief Operating Officer, Mazi Osita Okonkwo, noted that the collaboration is part of the airline’s long-term vision to deepen regional connectivity while also improving passenger experience through lifestyle-based partnerships.

Efe Bakare, Executive Director of Strategy at Medplus, emphasized the year-long planning process behind the partnership. She said the goal was to ensure alignment in quality, service delivery, and shared values between both companies. Future collaboration in logistics and cargo services is also being explored.
Ifeoma Ekwerike, Head of Commercial at UNA, added that the partnership will help gather real-time feedback from customers via Medplus locations, allowing the airline to refine its service quality and meet evolving travel needs.
This joint effort reflects a growing trend in Nigeria’s travel sector where convenience, health, and affordability now go hand-in-hand.
