Uzodimma Applauds President Buhari For Fulfilling Second Niger Bridge Promise

EKO HOT BLOG reports that history was made and a long-awaited promise was fulfilled for the people of South-eastern Nigeria as Governor Hope Uzodimma, along with other South-East governors and stakeholders, expressed their appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for the successful completion and commissioning of the second Niger Bridge, which now connects Asaba and Onitsha in Delta and Anambra States.
During the commissioning and handover ceremony held in Anambra State, Governor Uzodimma, in his address, expressed his gratitude for the bridge, which has been named the “President Muhammadu Buhari Bridge.”

The project, officially known as the “Muhammadu Buhari Second Niger Bridge,” was initially initiated by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2007. Construction commenced under President Goodluck Jonathan in March 2014 and was ultimately fully funded and completed by President Muhammadu Buhari, fulfilling his promise to the Igbo people.
