FairView Africa is looking for dynamic reporters with a strong news sense, excellent storytelling abilities, and a commitment to delivering accurate and compelling reports. Successful candidates will be responsible for covering key news stories, conducting interviews, and producing well-researched content.
Investigate and report on diverse news beats, including politics, business, and human interest.
Conduct interviews with key sources, experts, and public figures.
Write clear, engaging, and well-structured news reports.
Cover live events, press conferences, and breaking news.
Collaborate with editors, photographers, and social media teams for enhanced coverage.
Verify facts, cross-check sources, and maintain accuracy in all reports.
Adapt content for digital platforms, including social media and podcasts.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in journalism, reporting, or media (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may apply).
Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for storytelling and investigative journalism.
