Job Title: Video Editor / Animator

Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Video Editors & Animators who are looking to gain experience and are willing to volunteer their expertise to support our projects.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing:

Assemble raw footage into a polished final product with seamless transitions and consistent pacing.
Enhance video and audio quality for clarity and impact.
Add graphics, text overlays, and other visual elements to improve content engagement.
Perform color correction and grading to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
Organize and manage video files and assets efficiently.
Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.

Animation:

Create compelling 2D and/or 3D animations for various content needs, including explainer videos and social media.
Develop storyboards and animation concepts based on project objectives.
Design and animate characters, objects, and environments.
Apply motion graphics and visual effects to enhance animations.
Collaborate with the creative team to align animations with overall project goals.

Collaboration & Workflow:

Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to meet project requirements.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
Provide and incorporate feedback to improve final outputs.
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth workflow operations.
Export videos in multiple formats optimized for different platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or OND in Film Production, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong skills in animation software like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Blender.
A solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, motion, and spacing.
Experience with audio editing and mixing.
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A strong portfolio showcasing video editing and animation work.
