Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw footage, assembling compelling visual stories, and ensuring seamless transitions in video production. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to align video content with the company’s artistic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage from various sources to create cohesive, high-quality video content.
• Ensure edited footage aligns with the narrative structure and creative vision.
• Cut and arrange scenes for maximum visual and emotional impact.
• Integrate sound effects, dialogue, background scores, and music into videos.
• Utilize advanced editing software and digital tools for post-production.
• Maintain seamless and natural transitions between video cuts.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to achieve desired storytelling outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• SSCE, Diploma, or Degree in Film, Arts, Videography, or a related field.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe Premiere Elements.
• Strong computer literacy and understanding of digital video effects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience handling camera equipment is an added advantage.
